The festival held its third edition at the <strong>Pavilh\u00e3o Carlos<\/strong> <strong>Lopes <\/strong>between Friday 22 and Sunday 24 March, bringing together 19,500 people from more than 50 countries. This multiculturalism was also reflected in the music on offer, with 54 performances by artists from 16 countries who showed the best of <strong>Lisbon <\/strong>to the world and presented <strong>Lisbon <\/strong>with the sounds that make the city tick.tendencia a nivel mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At <strong>HIGHXTAR. <\/strong>we had the opportunity to travel to the Portuguese capital to live in first person the experience proposed by S\u00f3nar Lisbon and see why it has become an essential date in the annual calendar of festivals. Hundreds of songs were played last weekend. The selection was difficult, but here are the 5 songs that made the biggest impression on us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-sevdaliza-nothing-lasts-forever-with-grimes\">SEVDALIZA &#8211; Nothing Lasts Forever (with Grimes)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The electro-chanson idol <strong>Sevdaliza <\/strong>once again demonstrated at <strong>S\u00f3nar Lisbon<\/strong> her stage power. The Iranian presented an innovative and captivating new AV show in which she uses artificial intelligence to question preconceived ideas about gender and identity. In addition to the thrilling <em>&#8216;Human&#8217;<\/em>, the breakthrough track<em> &#8216;Ride or Die<\/em>&#8216; with <strong>Villano Antillano<\/strong> or the world-renowned <strong>Afterlife <\/strong>show<em> &#8216;Samsara&#8217; <\/em>(where she brings the vocals and futuristic visuals to life), Sevdaliza gave it all with her latest song with <strong>Grimes<\/strong>,<em> &#8216;Nothing Lasts Forever&#8217;<\/em>, whose music video featured deepfake-approved appearances from celebrities such as <strong>Madonna <\/strong>and <strong>Julia Fox<\/strong>. Another guest star, but in the audience, was <strong>Bj\u00f6rk<\/strong>, who didn&#8217;t want to miss<strong> Sevdaliza<\/strong>&#8216;s show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"SEVDALIZA - NOTHING LASTS FOREVER FT. The Estonian rapper never leaves the audience indifferent thanks to his unique and charismatic flow, which fuses sounds ranging from hip-hop to trap, experimental electronica and hyperpop, all under a constant provocation. His effervescent and energetic live show made us feel part of the cult that appears in the video for<em> &#8216;X-RAY&#8217;<\/em>, a 2018 track that takes us back to the trance and rave of the 90s, with <strong>Caroline Polacheck<\/strong>, among others, credited with the composition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"TOMMY CASH - X-RAY (Official Video)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/K5kD_vYnbe4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading alignwide has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-shygirl-tasty-boys-noize-extended-dub\">SHYGIRL &#8211; TASTY (BOYS NOIZE EXTENDED DUB)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zengxrl <\/strong>played one of the most vibrant and eclectic sets of Sunday. Raised on the outskirts of the Portuguese capital, the DJ maintains her Angolan roots and connects them with an amalgam of global sounds. During her set we could hear mixes of classics like <strong>Madonna<\/strong>&#8216;s <em>&#8216;Hang out&#8217;<\/em>, <strong>Destiny&#8217;s Child<\/strong>&#8216;s <em>&#8216;Say my name&#8217; <\/em>or<strong> Amerie<\/strong>&#8216;s <em>&#8216;One thing&#8217;<\/em>, as well as tracks ranging from afrobeat to house combined with peak time breaks, like the extended <strong>Boys Noize <\/strong>dub of<em> &#8216;Tasty&#8217;<\/em>, a song by <strong>Shygirl<\/strong>, who we could also enjoy at <strong>S\u00f3nar Lisbon<\/strong>. A track that raised the temperature at <strong>S\u00f3nar Village by Repsol<\/strong> on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Branko - Tudo Certo (feat. Dino d&#039;Santiago) [Official Video]\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sWba2DlvyBU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-adult-hand-to-phone-carl-craig-remix\">ADULT. &#8211; HAND TO PHONE (CARL CRAIG REMIX)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It was hard to choose between the performances at <strong>S\u00f3nar by night<\/strong>. <strong>Marie Davidson<\/strong>, <strong>Helena Hauff b2b Imogen<\/strong>, <strong>Tiga &amp; Hudson Mohawke<\/strong> or <strong>DJ Gigola <\/strong>made us not want to leave the <strong>S\u00f3narclub<\/strong>. For the unprecedented, we will keep the incredible show by <strong>2manydjs<\/strong> with <strong>Erol Alkan <\/strong>and <strong>\u00c9clair Fifi<\/strong>. A two-hour set of pure hedonism and enjoyment that the <strong>Dewaele <\/strong>brothers have accustomed us to. None of their performances is the same, but the one at <strong>S\u00f3nar Lisbon<\/strong> was (once again) memorable. Together with veteran <strong>Erol Alkan <\/strong>and the incombustible <strong>\u00c9clair Fifi<\/strong>, they created a wild, euphoric and eclectic set: from the Catalan electro of <strong>Dark Vektor<\/strong> with <em>&#8216;Hoy tengo ganas&#8217;<\/em> to the dance-punk of <strong>The Raptures<\/strong> with<em> &#8216;House of Jealous Lovers&#8217;<\/em>. We&#8217;re left with the last song of their show, <strong>Carl Graig<\/strong>&#8216;s remix of <strong>ADULT<\/strong>&#8216;s <em>&#8216;Hand to Phone&#8217;<\/em>, a track that goes straight into our favourite playlists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Hand to Phone (Carl Craig Remix)\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Ei-Odj8jdaQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After this successful edition, <strong>S\u00f3nar Lisbon<\/strong> will return in 2025 with its fourth edition, whose pre-registration for advance sales has already been opened.
