Since the introduction of the groundbreaking 501\u00ae jeans, widely known as the first blue jeans, the Levi’s\u00ae brand has continued to find new ways to innovate its most beloved garments while staying true to its heritage. In the exciting world of motorsport, McLaren Racing has continued to innovate and elevate their beloved cars without sacrificing their undeniable elegance. The new Levi’s\u00ae x McLaren Racing collection, which brings these two icons together for the first time, represents the best of heritage and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Levi’s\u00ae x McLaren Racing collection includes a Racing jacket, Racing overalls, Racing gloves, Heritage Trucker jacket, Heritage 501\u00ae jeans, Constructors Tee and Racing Bandana. Inspired by the spirit of McLaren Racing’s vintage era, the boxy-fit, cropped Racking jacket features an embroidered chain-stitch logo on the back and twill taping at the cuffs and hem. It comes in a light wash, with a satin lining and a tan leather brand patch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With vintage-inspired patches and a crackle print on the right leg, and the same co-branded patch, the jumpsuit features a vegetable tan leather zip fastening at the centre front. The three-tone racing gloves, inspired by McLaren Racing’s vintage graphic posters, use colours from the classic McLaren palette and feature perforations for breathability. Made with Italian leather and a Levi’s\u00ae shank for a snap closure, the gloves feature an embroidered signature of McLaren Racing founder Bruce McLaren and an embossed McLaren logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With vintage-inspired patches on the left and right chest, the cropped, boxy Heritage Trucker has a medium wash and brushstrokes at the elbows. The centre front zip is backed by red tape, while the co-branded red rear patch references classic McLaren cars from the 1980s. In a first for this historic garment, the Heritage 501\u00ae jeans replace the left back pocket with a hidden pocket with crackle print and a zipped piped pocket with red tape at the top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paying homage to McLaren Racing’s heritage, the jeans feature vintage-inspired patches and a co-branded red back patch. The Constructors Tee features a front printed graphic of a McLaren racing car from the 1980s. And finally, the Racing Bandana reinterprets classic Levi’s\u00ae western motifs through a racing lens with 80s McLaren graphics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coinciding with the British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit, the collection launches worldwide on July 3 and will be available for purchase on Levi.com<\/strong><\/a>, the Levi’s\u00ae App and in selected Levi’s\u00ae shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
