A few weeks ago speculation about a collaboration between the footwear designer and PUMA ignited after Salehe Bembury’s latest Instagram post. Well, announced in Paris, Bembury will not only help find Puma’s next star athlete, but will also design its exclusive Puma Hoops shoe, revolutionising the basketball court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the Olympics, Bembury highlighted the brand’s ability to embrace change, something few have achieved in recent decades. With the backing of Puma’s global head of basketball, Max Staiger, this collaboration focuses on Bembury’s passion for basketball and footwear. His love for both fields drives this partnership, seeking to create products that work both on and off the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Puma, he plans to fuse functionality and style, constantly innovating. For Bembury, footwear design is a form of storytelling. While there is no specific timeline for the new releases, Staiger anticipates big things within the next year.
