The swoosh giant will land in Germany this autumn with an innovative proposal curated by Glenn Adamson.<\/h2>\n\n\n

‘Nike: Form Follows Motion’ <\/em><\/strong>is a journey that traces the evolution of the brand through its entire history, from its beginnings to becoming the great cultural reference it is today. It is the first exhibition organised and directed by Nike<\/strong> to be held in a museum, and is curated by the American curator and historian Glenn Adamson<\/strong>, who specialises in the intersection between design, craftsmanship and contemporary art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this special way, visitors will discover first-hand how the iconic Swoosh logo was created, and the whole process behind emblems such as the Air Max<\/strong>. In addition, there will be a special focus on a specialised section reflecting the company’s philosophy on sustainability and in-house research into the materials of the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition will feature more than 200,000 archival items such as the Waffle<\/strong> trainer, limited edition Air Force One<\/strong> and Shox<\/strong>, and previously unpublished artefacts as well as original sketches of shoe and clothing designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So now you know, if you visit the city of Weil am Rhein<\/strong> (or failing that, Basel) this summer, don’t hesitate to visit the Vitra Design Museum<\/a><\/strong> and immerse yourself in the Nike<\/strong> universe through this unique exhibition that will be open from 21 September until 4 May 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
