Aquasella 2024 bids farewell leaving behind a sea of emotions, with a 27th edition that felt like a reunion between old friends. From Wednesday 14th August, when the first campers began to fill the \u2018Prau\u2019 at the Merediz estate in Arriondas, there was already that unique community vibe that only a festival like this can generate. The wait was over: four days of uninterrupted techno, with a line-up that promised and delivered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday kicked off with the Welcome Aquasella day, where the beats started to resonate on the main stages. In the Open Air, Amber Broos and Paula Cazenave heated up the atmosphere, but it was Fatima Hajji who closed the night with her unrivalled rhythm. Meanwhile, on the El Bosque Stage, the Rebels crew brought out their arsenal with vibrant sets from Anna Tur and David Penn, who kept the groove going through the trees. The night felt like a prelude to what was to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, it all went up a notch. Chelina Manuhutu and Jamie Jones turned Open Air upside down, but it was Deborah De Luca who pulled off one of those closures that sticks with you. At El Bosque, Ben Sims and \u00d3scar Mulero’s B2B turned into a techno masterclass, while Freddy K and The Lady Machine took us on a non-stop ride into the early hours of the morning. The La Real Tent, where Real Ravers took over, was chaos in the best sense: SNTS and Daria Kolosova tore up the dancefloor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday arrived with rain, but that only added to the epic feel of the most crowded day. The La Real tent, this time commanded by the Duro label, gave us sets full of intensity: Frank Kvitta and Wallis’ live set made it clear that the hardest techno still dominates, and Sara Landry finished off with a breathless closing set. At the Open Air, Dave Clarke and Black Lotus gave us a lesson in B2B, while Richie Hawtin showed why he’s still one of the greats. Marcel Dettmann and Cem’s set was a dark and deep journey, which gave way to the now classic farewell with Cristian Varela and DJ Pepo, a perfect finale that has become a tradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
