For three days, Maximilian Davis and Ferdinando Verderi explored the city with Juergen Teller, searching for everyday but pleasurable moments, such as the simple act of eating an ice cream. In the campaign, Raquel Zimmermann, who embodies a contemporary renaissance beauty, is accompanied by other friends of the brand such as Peter Saville, Lina Zhang and Ma\u00efa Tellit Hawad.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ferragamo’s journey home begins at Palazzo Spini Feroni, the brand’s headquarters since the 1930s. The building, which also houses the Ferragamo Museum, represents with the Ferragamo link a combination of historical tradition and innovation in fashion, helping to keep Florence’s cultural and artistic heritage alive. Next, David and Teller visited the Loggia dei Lanzi and Caff\u00e8 Rivoirie, La Galleria Romanelli and Palazzo Corsini, which houses works by masters such as Caravaggio, Botticelli and Rubens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Maximilian Davis, this campaign was about deepening the deep connection between Ferragamo and Florence, a relationship he considers fundamental to the brand’s identity. \u2018Ferragamo and Florence speak the same language, they share the same history, so I wanted to go back to the beginning of the story,\u2019 he explains. And it was also about celebrating the coexistence of the ordinary and the extraordinary, of history and modernity: \u2018In the times we live in, that’s what people are looking for, I’m interested in looking at real people in Florence and how they look like Ferragamo.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each place photographed embodies an ideal atmosphere for the Ferragamo man and woman to move with ease in their daily lives. A fitting tribute to the city that has been his home and source of inspiration for decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
