Cardi B has sparked a heated conversation on X, facing criticism over the use of the label \u201clight skin\u201d to describe herself. The rapper defends herself, explaining that the diversity in the Dominican Republic makes describing her skin tone much more complex. Furthermore, the artist called the argument of associating racial classification with nationality \u201cautomatically invalid,\u201d pointing out the incoherence in such logic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cardi B rejected accusations suggesting that \u201clight skin\u201d is a term reserved exclusively for black people with a paler complexion.
