A perfect synergy between PAM’s artistic vision and Martine Syms’ <\/a>exploration of fashion within her artistic practice.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The partnership is the result of a long-standing friendship between PAM’s lead designers, Shauna Toohey and Misha Hollenbach, and Syms. \u201cThe collaboration came about after many years of being a fan,\u201d says Syms, \u201cWe had mutual friends who always wore PAM. I finally met Shauna and Misha in Paris, and after years of conversations, this felt like the right time for a capsule collection.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection features a unique blend of Syms’ playful style, with his iconic self-portraits and witty text highlighted on various garments. Standout pieces include the Selfie Awareness Reversible Dress<\/strong>, covered in photo prints, and the Selfie Scroll Stretch Top and Skirt<\/strong>, which highlights PAM’s innovative scroll construction technique. The collection also includes the Sativa FC Jersey<\/strong>, plus the B.I.T.C.H. Oversized SS Tee<\/strong>, Poet Cap<\/strong>, Rider Cross Body Bag\/Belt<\/strong>, Don’t Ask Me 4 Shit Baby Tee<\/strong>, and matching socks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A favorite piece from the collection is the Don\u2019t Ask Me 4 Shit Baby Tee<\/strong>, a fun reinterpretation of a garment Syms received as a gift from her friend Erica Bech. Reflecting on its origin, Syms says, \u201cErica and I were designers together at a fashion company that was terrible. We were always being asked for things, so this is kind of a fun bootleg.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Syms’ personality shines through not only in the designs, but also in her creative philosophy. As a fan of soccer and \u201cnatural remedies,\u201d the collection includes subtle references to her interests, such as Sativa FC Jersey<\/strong>. Syms also champions a concept she calls \u201cDouble Penetration,\u201d referring to the deep, simultaneous impact on the heart and mind, a theme that fits perfectly with PAM’s ethos of \u201cPsy-Active NRG.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
