The Levi’s\u00ae brand has continually reinvented its best-loved garments while honouring its heritage. McLaren Racing has persistently elevated its racing cars without ever straying from its history. Following their first collaboration, launched in July around the \u2018British Grand Prix\u2019, the new Levi’s\u00ae x McLaren Racing collection, takes inspiration from the aesthetics and speed of the modern McLaren Racing era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second Levi’s\u00ae x McLaren Racing collection includes a Track Trucker, Sports 501\u00ae Jeans, a Speed Trucker, Speed Jeans, Second Skin, a fleece hoodie, a Constructors T-shirt, a long sleeve graphic tee, and a Speed bandana. The Track Trucker, which interprets a denim bomber jacket, features contrasting panels on the chest and back, and a ribbed collar and hem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Direct \u2018McLaren Racing\u2019 embroidery can be found on the front left chest. To mirror the Trucker jacket, the Sports 501\u00ae jeans feature contrasting denim turned up at the waist. Modeled after the contemporary classic 501\u00ae \u201893 Straight Fit, they include direct embroidery on the wearer’s left leg. Both the Trucker and Sports 501\u00ae jeans come with a custom black rubber patch with two horses, emulating a chassis plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a nod to traditional racing jackets, the black Speed Trucker features a double zip, a snap at the waist, and piping. The McLaren Racing logo arrives on the left chest, and a two-way zip on the centre front. The matching Speed Jeans, based on the Baggy Dad loose fit, come equipped with side panels and piping. They feature the co-branded rubber back patch on the left back pocket and direct embroidery on the wearer’s left leg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second Skin, based on McLaren Racing’s modular prints, features an orange long sleeve mock neck with a high gloss appearance. The loose-fitting Constructors T-shirt features laurels commemorating McLaren Racing’s victories over the years, the signature of Bruce McLaren, and Levi Strauss, and a clamp-on label. With a blocky grey marled body, black fleece panel and raglan style sleeves, the fleece hoodie uses the same high gloss silicone printing technique as Second Skin for a glossy finish. It comes with a custom L-tab, and a graphic on the back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Made using the high gloss silicone technique, the relaxed fit long sleeve graphic tee features a photographic print of a McLaren F1 car, a label on the back of the collar and on the brace, and an L-tab on the side seam. As a final part of the collection is the Speed Bandana, an oversized satin bandana featuring the same McLaren F1 graphic, as well as, a clamp label on the corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new collection launches worldwide on October 17 and will be available for purchase on \u00a0Levi.com<\/a><\/strong>, the Levi’s\u00ae app, and in select Levi’s\u00ae shops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
