The Parisian museum, owned by LVMH<\/a><\/strong>, is hosting this exciting new exhibition, a unique opportunity to enter the vibrant and provocative universe of an artist who, along with figures such as Andy Warhol<\/strong> and Roy Lichtenstein<\/strong>, redefined art in the second half of the 20th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the title \u2018Pop Forever Tom Wesselmann &\u2026\u2019<\/em><\/strong> he proposes a journey through his most iconic series, such as \u2018Great American Nude\u2019, where he explores the female figure under a bold and vibrant approach. His work reflects American society in the 1960s and 1970s, marked by consumerism, mass society, hedonism and cultural change.<\/p>\n\n\n

In addition to his innovative technique and unique sensibility, the exhibition highlights how Wesselmann<\/strong> mastered visual provocation with great skill, using eroticism and pop culture to question traditional values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition, which will be open to the public until 24 February 2025<\/strong>, also includes works by Marcel Duchamp<\/strong>, Kurt Schwitters<\/strong>, Jasper<\/strong> Johns<\/strong>, Marisol<\/strong>, Derrick Adams<\/strong>, Ai Weiwei<\/strong>, Lauren Halsey<\/strong>, Richard Hamilton<\/strong>, David Hammons<\/strong>, KAWS<\/strong> and Yayoi Kusama<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
