The celebrated Japanese artist\u00a0Takashi Murakami<\/strong>, known for his iconic smiling flowers, has taken a new step in his career by officially presenting\u00a0Ohana Hatake<\/strong>, his first foray into the world of footwear. The brand’s name, which in Japanese means\u00a0\u201cfield of flowers<\/em>\u201d, pays tribute to his recognizable aesthetic universe and his fascination with botany reinterpreted through his particular vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a project that has been carefully cultivated over the last year and, after the success of its three limited releases – among them the coveted\u00a0Ohana Full-Bloom<\/strong>\u00a0flip-flops that debuted with\u00a0BLACKPINK<\/strong><\/a>–\u00a0Murakami<\/strong> makes official the arrival of this new line with two brand new models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the one hand, new color combinations for the\u00a0Ohana Full-Bloom<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0\u201cApricot<\/strong>\u00a0\u2018 and\u00a0\u2019Raspberry Rose\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0shades, and on the other hand, a completely fresh proposal under the name\u00a0Surippa Ohana<\/strong>, developed in collaboration with the footwear experts at\u00a0VIOLET ST<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
