S\u00f3nar Lisbon<\/strong> continues to establish itself as a bridge between local and global electronic music. With 43 performances, the music event combines big names, local showcases and emerging artists, projecting the best of Lisbon<\/strong> to the world and vice versa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Icons of the present and future in the line-up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Legendary duo Underworld<\/strong> lead the bill with the freshness of their new album Strawberry Hotel<\/em>, while Richie Hawtin<\/strong> redefines minimal techno with his immersive DEX EFX X0X<\/em> show. They are joined by big names such as Nina Kraviz<\/strong>, Marcel Dettmann<\/strong> with his enigmatic My Own Shadow <\/em>show, Modeselektor<\/strong> and Jennifer Cardini<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The soul of Lisbon: stages and local collectives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The historic Pavilh\u00e3o Carlos Lopes<\/strong>, in the heart of Parque Eduardo VII<\/strong>, will be the epicentre of the festival. Its spaces will host from club marathons at S\u00f3nar by Night<\/strong> to live shows in the middle of nature during the day. But the local prominence goes beyond the venues: collectives such as Pr\u00edncipe x TraTraTrax<\/em>, Enchufada<\/em> and Dengo Club<\/em> bring the unique identity of the Lisbon<\/strong> scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Global beats and unexpected connections<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Artists such as Amor Satyr & Siu Mata<\/strong>, Clementaum<\/strong> and King Kami<\/strong> promise electrifying sets ranging from speed dembow to jungle. In addition, Lisbon<\/strong> will share with S\u00f3nar Barcelona<\/strong> exclusives such as Max Cooper<\/strong> and The Hakke Show<\/em> by Gabber Eleganza<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking to the future of clubbing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The likes of KI\/KI<\/strong>, Hector Oaks<\/strong> and Juliana Huxtable<\/strong> are redefining techno and trance, while Dee Diggs<\/strong> and Josh Caff\u00e9<\/strong> celebrate the queer roots of house. Representing local talent, Sheri<\/strong> Vari<\/strong> and Telma<\/strong> bring unique visions to the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
