The change comes after the departure of Virginie Viard<\/strong>, who held the creative direction of the French Maison<\/em> for five years, leaving a legacy that balanced innovation and respect for the maison’s classic codes. The designer, a prot\u00e9g\u00e9e and close collaborator of the legendary Karl<\/strong> Lagerfeld<\/strong><\/a>, took over in 2019 after the designer’s death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now it is the turn of Matthieu Blazy<\/strong>, who was leaving his post at the helm of Bottega Veneta<\/strong>, and with whom Chanel<\/strong> will take on a new hue.
