Since they began collaborating in 2017, JW Anderson and UNIQLO have found the perfect balance between British design and Japanese functionality. In this new installment, closet staples – Oxford shirts, polo shirts and denim – are reimagined with modern cuts and unexpected nods that make them a must-have closet staple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection plays with that duality between serious and relaxed. Think oversized cardigans you could steal from your grandfather’s closet, but paired with structured blazers that scream modern. Striped T-shirts and straight jeans also make an appearance, perfect for a casual day that doesn’t lose style. And the accessories? A marvel: ties with unexpected designs, embroidered caps and nautical bags that add a cool and casual touch to any look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mastermind behind this collaboration, Jonathan Anderson, needs no introduction. Recognized as International Designer of the Year by the CFDA and the British Fashion Council, and part of the TIME 100 list for 2024, Anderson is a master at mixing the classic with the avant-garde. His approach is always to breathe new life into the familiar, and this collection is no exception. And if there’s one thing UNIQLO does well, it’s democratize fashion without sacrificing quality.
