At the iconic Palais de Tokyo, Sacai presented its Fall 2025 collection, an ode to the wilderness, with a wild approach and nods to the furriest of fauna. Highlights include a cowhide pattern created in collaboration with J.M. WESTON and a foray into heavy-duty functional fashion alongside Carhartt WIP. But what truly stole the show on this nature-inspired catwalk was the footwear proposal in collaboration with UGG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This isn’t the first time the two brands have crossed paths: in 2018, they joined forces to launch a Knit Classic mini boot. However, this fall, the reunion was even bolder, giving rise to a footwear line consisting of three models that explore the wild realm through their design: fur-covered hiking boots, ultra-soft moccasins and thigh-high plush boots. All, without exception, convey a primitive and free feeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abe described the collection as \u201cfamily,\u201d a term that perfectly fits the trio of footwear, which is presented as three eclectic siblings in black and tan hues. The hiking boots combine UGG\u2019s signature sheepskin fleece with a heavy-duty lace overlay and leather trim. The loafers, meanwhile, highlight the Australian brand\u2019s signature leather through the stitching of a classic design, while the thigh-high boots arrive with a buckle system at the back and the ability to fold the upper over to create a towering swirl of sheepskin that drapes over the foot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The end result is as extravagant as the universe of Where The Wild Things Are, but Abe is clear that he doesn’t intend to limit his offering to the catwalk. “I want to see people wearing them everywhere,” he said, challenging style norms and encouraging his followers to get carried away by the wild spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
