The brand has once again surprised us with a new iconic piece: the Shopper Stomper. In a clear evolution of the celebrated Romper Bag, this shroud-like shoe marks a new chapter in the Westwood narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Vivienne Westwood<\/strong><\/a> Shopper Stomper is not, strictly speaking, an ASICS trainer. However, its DNA remains unmistakable. Priced at $550 and available online as part of Westwood’s Spring\/Summer 2025 collection, the model may not be a direct throwback to past collaborations, but we can’t help but notice echoes of that same disruptive spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crafted with a sleek synthetic exterior with a slightly glossy finish, the Shopper Stomper stands out for its refined simplicity. The structure, marked by the distinctive ruching at the top and hidden lacing system, underlines a minimalist yet sophisticated aesthetic. What really makes this piece unique from its predecessors is the addition of a stitched rubber side wall, an addition that distinguishes it from both the Romper Bag and the Mary-Jane Catch Stomper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
