For his AW25<\/strong> proposal, the London<\/a><\/strong>-based Jamaican designer has decided to look back to the most fundamental principles of fabrication. Rather than tackling traditional deconstruction, he delves into the very structure of garments, revealing the seams and the raw essence of what underpins fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Construction’<\/em><\/strong> is an homage to engineering and architecture, with reinterpretations of how elements come together, are dismantled and, in their reconstruction, new narratives emerge. Alleyne<\/strong> defies convention by stripping the garments of classic, polished elements, exposing the tension between function and expression. The proposal is not just about fashion, but about a broader process of constructing identity and meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018I’ve always been fascinated by the overlap between architecture and clothing: how a chair sits in a room and how a garment sits on the body,\u2019<\/em><\/strong> he reflects as he yearns to give new meaning to the act of dressing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
