The fifth chapter in her series of collections, entitled \u2018Somewhere, Nowhere\u2019<\/em><\/strong>, reflects on alienation, desolation and unattainable femininity, influenced by Nouvelle Vague<\/em> cinema and the portraits of enigmatic and moving women such as Gena Rowlands<\/strong>, Barbara<\/strong> Loden<\/strong> and Monica<\/strong> Vitti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection, charged with nostalgia, transports us into the life of an anti-heroine trapped in a domestic routine, and enveloped in a gentle but powerful melancholy. A fragmented figure who lives between pain and beauty, facing the challenge of existing in an emotionally distant, but at the same time enveloping universe. Lucila Safdie<\/strong>‘s protagonist does not seek to be understood, but to accept herself in her inner contradiction: is she too much or simply not enough?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result is classic tailoring and exquisite loungewear, with sumptuous fabrics and lace trimmings intertwined with the freshness of mini shorts, pleated skirts and baby-doll dresses. These wardrobe elements break away from the traditional and enter a territory of aesthetic tension, where the elegance of leather gloves and thigh-high socks are contrasted with the childlike sweetness of knitted ensembles and the elegance of fur shawls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
