In this context, the British firm has become a sponsor of the Foundation’s stand at ARCO, the prestigious international contemporary art fair held in Madrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year, the Amigos del Reina stand will not only be a meeting point, but also a platform to reveal the impressive and hitherto little-known work of the Museum’s Restoration and Conservation Department. A space where master craftsmanship merges with research into new materials and the most advanced technology, giving way to a dialogue between the traditional and the innovative in the preservation of artistic works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In homage to this unique encounter between art, conservation and innovation, JW Anderson has created a limited edition tote bag, featuring a work by the artist Ignasi Aball\u00ed, a fundamental part of the permanent collection of the Museo Reina Sof\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
