A\u0113sop takes its vision of fragrance a step further with Aurner Eau de Parfum, a creation that challenges the traditional norms of floral perfumery. Inspired by the tension between tenderness and strength, this fragrance questions the boundaries of what is expected of a floral creation, displaying a defiant character that evolves from spicy notes to a heart of wood and flowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The perfume has been conceived in collaboration with C\u00e9line Barel, one of Aesop’s most experienced perfumers, who also created Tacit Eau de Parfum, a fresh and vibrant fragrance. \u2018With Aurner, we have taken an evolutionary step within A\u0113sop’s aromatic universe,\u2019 says Barel. \u2018It’s a floral fragrance, but with a completely different perspective.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key to this transformation lies in the use of magnolia leaf in place of the flower, which brings a unique herbaceous touch and a floral sensation that is unconventional. Together with notes of Roman chamomile and the woody heart of cedar, Aurner defies expectations, moving away from the fragility commonly associated with floral fragrances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The name Aurner comes from an old Norwegian verb meaning \u2018to adorn with flowers\u2019, evoking the sensation of a fragrance that unfolds on the skin in layers of complexity. Its fresh start, full of spicy hints of cardamom and pink pepper, is softened by Roman chamomile, whose metallic touch sets the stage for the floral explosion that follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At its heart, magnolia meets notes of geranium, cardamom and a woody base that generates a rich texture. The combination of sandalwood, cypriol and cedar envelops the perfume with a unique intensity, highlighting the strength of the magnolia and its unique character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
