Natural stones (onyx, turquoise, coral\u2026) are another resource to embellish watches. When they are used as dials, the result is very attractive and different from one another. They are not usually affordable, however, because it is not easy to find jade, anthracite or rubellite in nature without defects, with supreme quality in terms of purity, patterns and inclusions. So whoever is lucky enough to have such a watch has a great treasure. And now, what’s more, you will be in fashion, because more and more watchmakers are including them in their catalogues. Andy Warhol Watch by Piaget<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

This stylish automatic watch arrived in 2024 to make watch collectors’ mouths water. It’s Piaget’s legendary Black Tie, with a square, rounded rose gold case, malachite dial and alligator-skin bracelet. Constellation Meteorite by Omega<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

The 41 mm steel Constellation Constellation’s meteorite dial is painted green with a galvanic treatment to match the ceramic bezel. F77 Titanium Lapis Lazuli by Nivada Grenchen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

In a very comfortable size for many wrists, 37 mm, this model with automatic movement chooses to be dressed in lapis lazuli, a deep blue and therefore rabidly eye-catching mineral that is as hard as steel. The Swiss firm Nivada Grenchen has made it in grade 5 titanium, both the case and the integrated bracelet, and it is also available with a choice of other natural stones: anthracite, venturine and meteorite. Streamliner Tourbillon by H. Moser & Cie.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Its dial is also green, but that stone is not malachite, but jade, which is widely used in China. This Streamliner comes from Wyoming, USA. The edition is limited to 100 pieces and the price is considerable, because it has a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock. Like Andy Warhol’s Black Tie, it is shaped like a cushion.
