The union of Moncler<\/strong> and Mercedes-Benz<\/strong> finds its maximum expression in this collaboration that transcends the limits of fashion. Through the Moncler Genius<\/strong> platform, NIGO<\/strong> has succeeded in creating a visual and conceptual dialogue between the past and the future. In his own words: \u2018I always refer to the past. In Japan, there is a saying: Learn from the past to create something new’<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection was presented for the first time in Shanghai<\/strong> last year, but it was in New York<\/strong>, the city that served as the inspiration for this project, that it was officially unveiled to the public. Thus, the Big Apple<\/strong>, with its vibrant mix of cultures and the birthplace of hip-hop, becomes the perfect setting for a proposal that delves into the visual archives of Moncler and Mercedes-Benz<\/strong>, reinterpreting its essence with a twist clearly influenced by the New York<\/strong> aesthetics of the 80s and 90s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project, led by NIGO<\/strong>, stands as an unprecedented visual and sensory experience. The new creations fuse the style of Moncler<\/strong> with the visual power of Mercedes-Benz<\/strong>, and incorporate the cultural richness of the cultural and artistic movement born in the Bronx<\/strong>, giving rise to an exquisite bridge between eras and styles born from the in-depth research and critical eye of the Japanese on the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Standout pieces include varsity jackets, hoodies, checked shirts and a jacket in washed denim. In addition, a Moncler<\/strong> jumper pops through the automotive brand’s three-pointed star, while the French house’s heritage typography adds an extra layer of modern nostalgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
