The worldwide phenomenon caused by Benito Antonio Mart\u00ednez Ocasio<\/strong> has become the subject of study by one of the most prestigious universities in the world: Yale University<\/strong>. Thus, the new subject taught by Albert Laguna<\/strong>, associate professor of American Studies and Ethnicity, Race and Migration, will delve into the multiple levels of meaning that inhabit his lyrics, rhythms and aesthetics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it’s not just about beats and catchy verses. The course is intended as an in-depth analysis of the Puerto Rican diaspora, identity politics and colonial tensions that affect Bad Bunny<\/strong> and reggaeton as a musical genre. According to the professor, the project aims to highlight how urban music can be a powerful tool for cultural interpretation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative follows a growing trend of influential universities opening their doors to some of the key figures of contemporary pop culture such as Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>, Taylor Swift<\/strong> and Harry Styles<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
