Rihanna did it again. This May 5th, the queen of anticipation appeared on the steps of the MET, making it clear that her presence is art, strategy, and narrative. This time, the reveal wasn’t a Maison Margiela outfit or a conceptual homage to Karl Lagerfeld: it was her third pregnancy. The baby bump was the statement, and with it, the question that has been echoing around the internet for years was reborn: Where is R9?<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recall that in 2020, Rihanna dropped a phrase that now sounds almost mythical: “[The album] will probably come out sooner than my fans think.” On the MET red carpet, Entertainment Tonight posed the obligatory question: How is the woman who redefines pop, business, and style handling her third pregnancy? “I’m doing well, I feel surprisingly good and not too overwhelmed right now.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
