The short film \u2018Grande Envie\u2019<\/em> oscillates between vintage glamour and sustainability, while encapsulating the spirit of the new Upcycled<\/em> collection.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Winner of four Oscars and responsible for the wardrobe of such cinematic gems as \u2018The Great Gatsby\u2019<\/em> and \u2018Moulin Rouge\u2019<\/em>, Catherine<\/strong> Martin<\/strong> joins Miu Miu<\/strong>‘s latest project to offer a project that breathes cinema, history and luxury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set in the aesthetic frontier of the twenties and thirties – that space of shock, evolution and freedom after the First World War – \u2018Grande Envie\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>is a celebration of contrasts. In it, Martin<\/strong> constructs a ghostly love triangle story where the past, desire and beauty intertwine in a unique narrative starring Callina Liana<\/strong>, Daisy Ridley<\/strong>, Jasmin<\/strong> Savoy Brown<\/strong>, Diana Silvers<\/strong>, Elliot Sumner<\/strong> and the great Willem Dafoe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But although the plot is particularly strong, what is really important in this proposal is the Upcycled<\/em><\/strong> collection. Launched for the first time in 2020, this collection brings back vintage pieces and transforms them under the eccentric and delicate prism of Miuccia Prada<\/a><\/strong>. The new release, which masterfully blends delicate fabrics with the most detailed techniques, will be available from 7 June<\/strong> in selected Miu<\/strong> Miu<\/strong> boutiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
