London-based brand Aries <\/strong>draws inspiration from the beauty, excess and romanticism of a Roman feast to serve up a range of modern relics to the contemporary world in collaboration with KFC<\/strong>. The fried chicken chain draws on the purest streetwear codes to launch a capsule collection filled with eye-catching graphics and artfully surreal images captured by famed photographer Douglas Irvine, which evoke Renaissance opulence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cGravy Drip<\/strong>\u201d collection -\u00a1a play on words between the term \u201cdrip\u201d and KFC’s popular sauce- consists of 10 pieces<\/strong> that represent that combination, including a distressed leather jacket with a back panel of celestial figures featuring chicken thighs as treasures, and jeans digitally printed with scenes inspired by Roman banquets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other items in the capsule include a black T-shirt soaked in KFC’s golden sauce that reflects the philosophy of this union, as Aries founder Sofia Prantera says: \u201cWe wanted to create something beautifully executed with a subtle touch of irony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The golden sauce drips equally well on a series of black sweatshirts that can be worn with delightful accessories such as a gold chicken thigh pendant necklace with gray enamel.
