In a combination of only black and white, Helmut Lang has opted for minimalism as a refuge for Pre-Fall.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The basics highlight silhouettes that border on the sculptural, with a precise approach that exudes meticulousness and modernity. But without too much stridency. Here, the poplin shirts are laser-cut, with tonal embroidery; the transparent crewneck with 3D lines looks like architecture made textile piece. Cotton twill zoot pants, silk charmeuse boxy shirts and ivory fabrics underline Helmut Lang ‘s minimalist DNA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cocoon trouser with tapered leg encapsulates this idea of mutant classicism. At the top of the torso, the women’s Bustier Shirt or the men’s Uniform Shirt, with oversized pockets and calculated wear, anchor the collection in the terrain between sophisticated workwear and a uniform of the future. Cotton knit basics, garment-dyed and with ombr\u00e9 effect, add a more relaxed note. And the logoed sweatshirts and T-shirts also sneak into the collection. They do not try to capitalize on streetwear, but integrate it into a more subtle conversation about the everyday wearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
