The art and fashion collective MSCHF<\/a> presents its new work \u2018King Solomon’s Baby\u2019<\/strong> on 10 July at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn. The large-scale sculpture will be sold for $100,000 to a single buyer, or physically divided into parts if there are several interested parties. In that case, the price is adjusted according to the number of buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The action follows in the line of previous works by the collective, such as Material Values<\/strong> or the fragmentation of a painting by Damien Hirst, and poses a reflection on the logic of ownership and value in the contemporary art market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A ceremony scheduled for 20:30 on the opening day will mark the cutting of the first portion of the sculpture.
