The Chinese brand’s latest campaign blurs the lines between fashion, identity and visual narrative.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by Diane Arbus<\/strong>‘ iconic photograph Identical Twins<\/em>, SHUSHU\/TONG <\/strong>presents Mutual Reference<\/em><\/strong>, an audiovisual project that immerses itself in a game of mirrors in which femininity is reinterpreted through fiction and emotional dissonance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building on the FW25<\/strong> show, which already showed promise in terms of narrative and staging, this new instalment delves deeper into the idea of duality as a construct: two identical girls with opposing expressions, at odds with each other yet united by a shared narrative that explores evolution, interaction and identity as mutual reflections. The result is an intimate and visually powerful universe, where each image functions as a frame in a larger story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection, meanwhile, continues to develop the hyper-feminine and slightly subversive DNA that has made the brand<\/a><\/strong> recognisable. Knitted garments with striking contrasts, embroidered dresses, delicate lace and ruffled skirts are combined with knitted gloves, headbands and socks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
