Yoshida & Co.<\/a>, the Japanese brand with 90 years of experience in creating military-grade nylon, celebrates its anniversary in an unexpected way: with its first collaboration with Cecilie Bahnsen. The Danish designer, known for transforming ethereal fabrics into almost sculptural structures, applies her floral language to the brand\u2019s PORTER line.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection explores the tension between strength and delicacy. While nylon has always been synonymous with durability and practicality, here it becomes light. Through embroidery, cut-outs and appliqu\u00e9s, the bags appear closer to garments than accessories. The capsule includes three silhouettes<\/strong>: Bonsac Mini<\/em>, 2-Way Tool Bag<\/em> and Backpack<\/em>. Each features laser-cut floral motifs, quilting and patent details, <\/strong>maintaining the original sturdiness while changing the visual perception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bahnsen does not limit herself to ornamentation. Her work redefines the relationship between function and aesthetics. In this project, the hardness of the nylon is softened, allowing utilitarian objects to acquire character and form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration debuted on 5 June at the PORTER flagship store<\/strong> in Shinjuku and on the Yoshida & Co. website<\/a>. The capsule now extends to Korea through an online raffle from 20 August and will be available at Dover Street Market Ginza from 22 August.
