From the Crocodile to the GOAT <\/em><\/strong>is a celebration of the greatness of a player who has changed the history of tennis and transcended the sport to become a cultural icon. An ambassador for the Maison<\/em> for more than eight years, Novak Djokovic<\/strong> has built a relationship with it marked by excellence, perseverance and ambition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Novak Djokovic has been part of the Lacoste family for over eight years. Together, we have shared an exceptional period, during which he won 12 Grand Slam titles \u2013 half of his total achievements. Beyond being an extraordinary player, his tenacity, mindset and values have helped to strengthen and amplify the brand. Transforming our Crocodile into a GOAT today to pay tribute to him, and presenting the collection here, where Ren\u00e9 built his legend, was an obvious choice. This initiative reflects our ability to reinvent our codes while remaining faithful to Ren\u00e9 Lacoste’s legacy,”<\/em><\/strong> said Thierry Guibert<\/strong>, CEO of Lacoste<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GOAT<\/strong> collection consists of five essential pieces\u2014a polo shirt, T-shirt, tracksuit jacket, cap, and trousers\u2014all featuring the new logo, which replaces the crocodile with a goat, symbolising eternity. This highly limited edition will only be available in a select few countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official presentation took place on 22 August<\/strong> at Lacoste<\/strong>‘s new flagship store on Fifth Avenue<\/strong> in New York<\/a><\/strong>, where the athlete was able to share a very intimate moment with his fans and reveal the secrets behind the capsule collection.<\/p>\n\n\n
