The Conjuring<\/em> house <\/a>up for auction is located in Burrillville. It has over 3,000 m\u00b2 of built space and sits on 8.5 acres of land. Its fame comes from the alleged paranormal phenomena <\/strong>experienced by the Perron family in the 1970s. Reports included strange smells, knocks on the walls, beds moving on their own, and voices with no clear origin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case was investigated by Ed and Lorraine Warren<\/strong>, a demonologist and a medium, whose work inspired the film franchise. According to their findings, the events were linked to Bathsheba Sherman, a 19th-century woman accused of practising witchcraft and said to have cursed the property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Perrons lived in the house for almost a decade<\/strong> before moving out. Since the film\u2019s release in 2013, the farmhouse has become a cult location for horror fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
