A decade ago, Apple<\/strong> unveiled its first smartwatch as an extension of the iPhone<\/strong> on the wrist, and it was also 10 years ago that it began its collaboration with French luxury brand Herm\u00e8s to accompany the Apple Watch<\/strong> with its exquisite designs. This alliance, which combines craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology, is once again bearing fruit this month, with the Cupertino<\/strong>-based company (California, USA) launching new products, including the Series 11<\/strong> and Ultra 3 <\/strong>watches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Herm\u00e8s<\/strong>‘ timeless designs embellish the dials and straps of these smartwatches, offering new features such as a narrow Grand H Fin <\/strong>steel bracelet, a Scub’H Diving<\/strong> rubber sports strap with perforated circles and a titanium buckle for the Ultra<\/strong> model, and the festive Faubourg Party<\/strong> pattern on the dial. This recreates the fa\u00e7ade of the iconic Herm\u00e8s<\/strong> store at 24 Faubourg-Saint-Honor\u00e9<\/strong> in Paris<\/strong> in 24 stories that come to life according to the time, weather or calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Added to all this is the Animaux Bandana<\/strong>, a leather leash in different colours that imitates the motifs of the Herm\u00e8s silk scarf of the same name, covered with screen-printed horses, toucans, monkeys, parrots and sloths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the urban Apple Watch Herm\u00e8s Series 11<\/strong>, with a 42 mm or 46 mm titanium case, and the sportier Apple Watch Herm\u00e8s Ultra 3<\/strong>, in grade 5 titanium and 49 mm in diameter, have a capacity of 64 GB, and add to their predecessors the functions of hypertension notifications (the watch analyses the blood vessels in case the user has problems) and sleep monitoring, with a note to indicate whether the owner has slept well or not. In the case of the Ultra 3<\/strong>, it also provides satellite communication, including emergency calls, i.e. a message via satellite from a location without coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Apple Watch Herm\u00e8s<\/strong> collections, which are now available for pre-order at hermes.com<\/a><\/strong> and will go on sale on Friday, 19 September<\/strong>, are priced between \u20ac1,399 and \u20ac2,149 for the 42 mm Series 11<\/strong>, between \u20ac1,449 and \u20ac2,129 for the 46 mm Series 11<\/strong>, and between \u20ac1,579 and \u20ac1,699 for the Ultra 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
