Half Cut<\/em> is one of the foundational collections of SUOT STUDIO<\/a><\/strong>, the contemporary jewellery project created by Marta Tous<\/strong>. Conceived as a manifesto in the form of a jewel, this proposal breaks away from the traditional codes of fine jewellery to explore a raw, sharp and deeply conceptual language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The starting point is simple yet striking: to replace the traditional full cut with halves<\/strong>. From that gesture emerges a new visual harmony, where symmetry is severed, edited and substituted \u2014 revealing the beauty that resides in imperfection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gemstones, intentionally fragmented, reach their full expression in rings, earrings and pendants that celebrate the unfinished as fertile ground for creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Divorce Ring: the origin of the Half Cut<\/em> universe<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first piece to shape this universe was the Divorce Ring<\/a><\/em><\/strong> \u2014 a design conceived with irony and inspired by the idea of the solitaire. Created to be worn alone or paired, it introduces a modular combination system<\/strong> that structures the entire collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This ring challenges not only aesthetic conventions but also emotional ones. It questions traditional relationship structures and defends the freedom to choose how \u2014 and with whom \u2014 to build oneself.<\/p>\n\n\n

The pieces in Half Cut<\/em> are designed to be layered, combined or worn individually<\/strong>, creating new relationships between form and function. Each jewel evokes a delicate visual tension \u2014 a dialogue between the polished and the fractured, between the classical and the disruptive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An innovative modular system allows users to mix halves and create unique configurations. Here, personalisation<\/strong> is not an accessory but a structural part of the design. Each cut opens a range of possibilities, turning the wearer into the true author of their own visual narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
