Dark, sensual and slightly disturbing. This is how BIMBA Y LOLA<\/strong> presents its new collection. An ode to Lynchian surrealism and that blurred line between what we dream and what we fear. The brand delves into the cinematic imagery of Blue Velvet<\/strong> (1986) with the aim of creating pieces that celebrate the Day of the Dead<\/strong> from a contemporary and exquisitely disturbing perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection emerges from a hyper-aesthetic universe in which velvet serves as a metaphor for desire, danger and mystery. Dark, almost hypnotic roses become the leitmotif of the capsule collection. In oversized link necklaces, cascading earrings and maxi rings covered in petals, these flowers seem to have been taken from a night-time scene charged with tension and romanticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, the colour palette is also full of drama: vermilion red, deep chestnut, absolute black and midnight blue. A range that evokes the most hidden side of desire, which David Lynch<\/a><\/strong> turns into visual narrative and BIMBA Y LOLA<\/strong> transforms into jewellery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rose also serves as a powerful cultural symbol. In Mexico<\/strong>, in addition to representing love and passion, it is linked to the tradition of the Day of the Dead<\/strong>, which celebrates the bridge between the two worlds every 2nd of November<\/strong>. In \u201cBLUE VELVET\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, these flowers become a mystical amulet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
