The brand founded by <strong>Kim Kardashian <\/strong>and <strong>Jens Grede <\/strong>has secured <strong>$225 million<\/strong> in new funding, led by<strong> Goldman Sachs Alternatives<\/strong>. With this investment, the company reaches a valuation of $5 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since its launch in 2019, the label has expanded beyond shapewear to offer a wider range of products. Today it includes<strong> loungewear, activewear <\/strong>and men\u2019s basics. SKIMS expects to surpass<strong> $1 billion in net sales this year<\/strong>, confirming its rapid growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new capital will drive its<strong> international expansion <\/strong>and support its shift towards a business model with<strong> more physical retail <\/strong>locations, after starting out as a digital-first brand. This shift marks an important phase in its development beyond the online sphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funding follows other recent moves, such as the full integration of <strong>SKKN by Kim<\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/highxtar.com\/en\/this-is-the-first-nike-x-skims-collection\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the collaboration with Nike on women\u2019s activewear<\/a><\/strong>.
