The space has been conceived to compete directly with the premium brands that dominate the city\u2019s uptown district. This project reshapes the brand\u2019s aesthetic identity and has been designed by Belgian architect and designer <strong>Vincent Van Duysen<\/strong>, a regular collaborator since 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The opening marks a key moment in Zara\u2019s repositioning strategy under <strong>Marta Ortega<\/strong>. In this new phase, the company aims to strengthen its design narrative and reinforce its presence in strategic locations. The entrance works as a foyer designed to avoid visual overload. From this point onwards, the interior seeks to convey calm, sophistication and a sense of \u201chome\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The colour palette brings together natural woods, brushed metal, soft stone and matte finishes. Rugs, sofas, display cabinets and bookshelf-style units create an atmosphere closer to that of a curated domestic gallery than a conventional store. Van Duysen explains that his intention is for visitors to \u201cdiscover different environments\u201d, as if moving through the rooms of a house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-fashion-and-home-decor-in-a-single-journey\">Fashion and home d\u00e9cor in a single journey<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For the first time in Barcelona, Zara brings together its <strong>women\u2019s and men\u2019s collections<\/strong> with its <strong>premium home d\u00e9cor<\/strong> range in one single space. Until now, this combination had only appeared <a href=\"https:\/\/highxtar.com\/en\/zara-opens-a-new-chapter-in-serrano-with-el-apartamento\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">i<strong>n the brand\u2019s \u201cApartamento\u201d concept in Madrid<\/strong><\/a>, A Coru\u00f1a and Paris. Even so, this flagship does not replicate any previous model; it has been created specifically for this location, making it a unique store within the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-technology-and-a-seamless-experience\">Technology and a seamless experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The experience is enhanced by integrated technology. On the upper floor, a screen displays real-time fitting-room availability. Each cabin\u2019s lights switch on automatically as the customer enters. When leaving, the layout naturally directs visitors towards the payment area. It\u2019s no surprise that <strong>Marta Ortega<\/strong> and <strong>Carlos Torretta<\/strong> attended the opening, underlining the project\u2019s importance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the latest results published, Inditex closed the first six months of 2025 with a <strong>1.6% increase in sales<\/strong> and a <strong>0.8% rise in net profit<\/strong>, maintaining the moderate trend of the year\u2019s first quarter. For Zara \u2014 which includes Zara Home and Lefties \u2014 revenue reached <strong>\u20ac13.15 billion<\/strong>, up <strong>0.89%<\/strong>, representing the slowest growth within the group.
