The K-pop group has announced their first album since 2022 and confirmed that the comeback will be accompanied by a world tour. This announcement marks the definitive end of their hiatus due to South Korea\u2019s mandatory military service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The news was confirmed by their agency,<strong> Big Hit Music<\/strong>, which revealed that the new album will be released on <strong>20 March 2026<\/strong>. Ahead of the official announcement, the seven members shared handwritten letters addressed to ARMY, thanking fans for their patience and continued support throughout the wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve been waiting more eagerly than anyone else,\u201d wrote <strong>RM<\/strong>. <strong>Jimin<\/strong> added that \u201cthe year we\u2019ve been waiting for has finally arrived\u201d, while <strong>V<\/strong> expressed his excitement for everything that lies ahead in this new chapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-back-in-the-studio\">Back in the studio<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>BTS reunited in the studio in July 2025, just one month after Jimin and Jung Kook completed their military service. In November, Jimin had already hinted that the album was finished and ready for release in the spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a previous statement, the group explained that they are approaching this new project with the same energy they had at the beginning of their career. Alongside the album, BTS also confirmed that they are preparing a world tour, with the aim of reconnecting with fans across the globe and returning to the stage on a large scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-beyond-the-group\">Beyond the group<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>During the group hiatus, most of the members remained active through solo projects. The most recent release was <strong>Jin\u2019s<\/strong> second solo EP, <em>Echo<\/em>, which came out last year.
