Leading the project is <strong>Edward Enninful<\/strong>, one of the most influential figures in fashion and visual culture of our time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To talk about <strong>Britain<\/strong> in the 1990s is to talk about a country that, after a deep economic recession, found a form of resistance in hedonism. It was a decade in which punk mutated, Britpop became the soundtrack of an entire generation, and British contemporary art blew up the established norms. While <strong>Oasis<\/strong> and <strong>Blur<\/strong> fought for the top spot on the charts, the <strong>Young British Artists<\/strong> took over museums and galleries, and the <em>Cool Britannia<\/em> phenomenon\u2014with <strong>Kate Moss<\/strong> as its absolute icon\u2014exported a new cultural identity to the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition is presented as an immersive journey into that<em> \u2018new dawn of optimism, freedom and rebellion\u2019<\/em> that defined the era.
