The brand seeks to grow, consolidate its network of stores and strengthen its connection with local communities. To this end, it has confirmed the opening of four new points of sale and the expansion of one of its most important spaces in Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expansion plan includes <strong>two new openings in <strong>Andaluc\u00eda<\/strong><\/strong>, in \u00c9cija and La L\u00ednea de la Concepci\u00f3n. In addition, there will be a store in Bilbao, which will strengthen the brand&#8217;s presence in the <strong>Pa\u00eds Vasco<\/strong>. JD will also expand its store in the La Maquinista shopping centre in <strong>Barcelona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the expansion, the La Maquinista store will cover 905 m\u00b2. It will be JD&#8217;s largest retail space in Spain in 2026. Its location and high visitor traffic make it a key location. The company expects it to be the best-performing point of sale of the year. The operation reinforces the commitment to spacious stores designed as urban experience spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This expansion comes after<strong> a very positive close to 2025<\/strong>. In the Iberian market, the store with the highest turnover was Colombo, in Lisbon. In Spain, Marbella took the lead. That same year, the flagship store in Portal de l&#8217;\u00c0ngel, Barcelona, was opened, becoming the brand&#8217;s largest store in Europe and marking a change in its retail vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-jd-as-a-benchmark-for-urban-fashion-in-spain\">JD as a benchmark for urban fashion in Spain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With these openings, JD will reach a total of 26 stores in Andalusia, 18 in the Community of Madrid and seven in the Basque Country by 2026. The forecast is to close the year with 138 stores in Spain. This expansion plan reinforces JD&#8217;s commitment to the Spanish market and its ambition to continue leading the urban scene.
