Eva Ruiz<\/strong><\/a> presents\u00a0\u201cSanta Cruz\u201d<\/strong>, the single marks the beginning of a new creative phase characterized by emotional honesty and a connection to his roots. The track is the first preview of his upcoming album, which will be released on March 6<\/strong>, and serves as a statement of intent: less artifice, more truth, and a more intimate and mature sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The song was born in Lanzarote<\/strong>, during a key songwriting session in the album’s production process. For the first time, her creative team from Los Angeles traveled to the island to experience firsthand its context, culture, and the environment that shapes Eva’s identity. Settled in a house in the south of the island, far from the noise, they spent several days writing organically. In this context\u2014with two of her best friends present\u2014several songs emerged, including \u201cSanta Cruz.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Written during an immersive creative retreat, the song was constructed at the same time as the emotion that runs through it. Although it makes direct reference to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, its creation in Lanzarote generates a dialogue between islands that ultimately defines the song’s universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
