Three decades after the first meeting between the designer and Jacob Arabo, their joint archive is being auctioned at JOOPITER under the title \u2018Objects of Brilliance\u2019<\/em>.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All of Pharrell<\/strong>‘s most extravagant jewellery\u2014from the legendary N.E.R.D.<\/strong> chain, which reportedly ended up in Drake<\/strong>‘s hands for \u00a31.5 million, to his 18-carat gold BlackBerry 8700b<\/strong> from 2006\u2014bears the signature of Arabo<\/strong>, better known as Jacob the Jeweller<\/strong>. But his impact goes far beyond jewellery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was Jacob<\/strong> himself who introduced Pharrell<\/strong> and NIGO<\/strong>, sparking one of the most influential creative relationships of recent decades. Together they founded brands, promoted cultural projects, launched a sake company and even invested in a Japanese hospitality start-up. Three names, one vision: to turn urban culture into pure luxury.<\/p>\n\n\n

Thirty years later, that friendship has materialised in an exclusive auction. Through JOOPITER<\/a><\/strong>\u2014the auction house founded by Pharrell<\/strong> himself\u201430 unique pieces from Arabo<\/strong>‘s personal archive and Williams<\/strong>‘ private collection are being put on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the most iconic pieces is Jacob & Co.<\/strong>‘s first Five Time Zone<\/strong>, the watch that marked a turning point in urban watchmaking in the early 2000s and laid the foundations for the brand’s contemporary extravagance. Also noteworthy, of course, is the custom necklace for Skateboard<\/strong> P<\/strong> featuring over 112 carats of Fancy Vivid<\/strong> yellow diamonds. Designed as a \u2018modern royal jewel,\u2019<\/em> it is estimated to be worth between \u00a34.5 and \u00a35.5 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the 18-carat white gold pendant with diamonds that reproduces the HUMAN MADE<\/strong> logo is another of the most sought-after designs. Valued at between $100,000 and $150,000, it serves as a symbolic closure of a creative circle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The auction, which has already begun and ends on 5 March, also includes inanimate objects transformed into sparkling relics: 18-carat white gold paper clips with diamonds linked to Virgil Abloh<\/strong> and Jacob & Co.<\/strong>‘s Office Supplies<\/em><\/strong> collection, a bow tie completely covered in pav\u00e9 and a rose gold diamond carabiner.<\/p>\n\n\n
