The Swiss-Spanish artist moves slightly away from the harder electronic sound that defined his previous work and leans towards something more organic \u2014 more band-driven and less machine-led. It\u2019s not a radical turn, but it does reveal another side of his music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The story behind the track is closely tied to the live experience. During his concerts, <strong>\u2018Materialista\u2019<\/strong> gradually evolved into a much more intense version than the original. That energy that emerged on stage ultimately led Laskaar back into the studio to record it again, aiming to preserve that feeling of a shared moment that only really happens when there\u2019s an audience in front of you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new version brings in more instruments and more texture: <strong>drums, bass, keyboards, backing vocals and even trumpets<\/strong>. Together they give the track a warmer, more vibrant atmosphere, as if the song is breathing a little more. There\u2019s less of the cold electronic production and more of the presence of musicians playing together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even so, Laskaar remains firmly within his creative territory, blending styles such as soul, contemporary R&amp;B, trap, house and drum &amp; bass. That mix is a key part of his identity and has helped him gain attention beyond Spain, with mentions in outlets such as <em>The Fader<\/em>, <em>Clash<\/em> and <em>i-D Spain<\/em>.
