From the moment we landed, we knew this wasn\u2019t just about music. For a few days, the city became the epicenter of a different way of experiencing festivals\u2014more intimate, more real, and stripped of that layer of artifice that so often surrounds everything. The lineup spoke for itself. Carin Le\u00f3n<\/a><\/strong>, host and the driving force behind the project, led a proposal where live performance takes center stage. But what made it even more interesting is that he wasn\u2019t alone. On stage, we saw artists like Kany Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, with a sensitivity that transcends genres; Alejandro Sanz<\/strong>, who needs no introduction and elevated the moment to something almost generational; and Midland<\/strong>, bringing a country edge that fit perfectly within the festival\u2019s narrative. And, of course, Grupo Frontera<\/strong>, connecting with the audience through a sound that already defines a new era of regional Mexican music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every show had something special, but what truly stood out was the constant sense of connection. There\u2019s no distance here. The crowd sings, the artists respond, and everything happens on the same level\u2014no hierarchy, no barriers. But La Cura Fest doesn\u2019t end when you step off the main stage. There was one space that perfectly captured the spirit of the festival: the Rodeo stage<\/strong>. Between shows, it transformed into exactly what its name suggests\u2014real rodeos, action, dust, energy\u2014and a way to keep the experience alive at all times. It wasn\u2019t \u201cdowntime\u201d; it was a core part of the La Cura universe. A reminder that everything here revolves around the culture behind the music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then there\u2019s what isn\u2019t programmed. We had the chance to experience moments that don\u2019t usually make it into the official narrative: partying with Carin Le\u00f3n <\/strong>himself, with the guys from Grupo Frontera, and with other artists in a completely relaxed environment. No barriers, no protocols, none of that limited-access feeling. Everything flowed naturally, as if the festival never really ended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s where La Cura Fest truly stands apart. Beyond the lineup or the production\u2014which is at a very high level\u2014what defines this experience is the care. From the very beginning, the team was on top of everything, making sure every detail was handled. We felt welcomed, looked after, and above all, part of something bigger. Hermosillo plays its role too. The heat, the energy of the people, the way music is woven into everyday life\u2026 it all adds up to make the experience make sense. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And now, the key moment: La Cura Fest is coming to Spain next year<\/strong>. If they manage to translate what we experienced here\u2014that mix of authenticity, closeness, and constant celebration\u2014we\u2019re looking at one of the most interesting moves to land on the national scene. Because when a festival makes you stop thinking about content and start actually living the moment, you know there\u2019s something special behind it.
