A surprise triple album.<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Some artists spend months announcing an album, releasing teasers bit by bit and turning each one into an event; then there\u2019s Drake<\/a><\/strong>, who, after weeks of promoting Iceman<\/em> alongside a giant block of ice<\/a><\/strong>, ended up defying all industry conventions by releasing three full-length albums on the same day. On 15 May, when everything pointed to Iceman marking his big solo comeback, the Canadian also released Habibti<\/strong><\/a> and Maid Of Honour<\/a><\/strong>, leaving his fans with 43 new tracks in a matter of hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The move not only took his fans by surprise, but also ended up taking streaming platforms by storm. In just 24 hours, Drake became the most-streamed artist <\/strong>of 2026 <\/strong>on Spotify, whilst Iceman recorded the biggest single-day debut of the year for an album on the platform. As if that weren\u2019t enough, \u2018Make Them Cry<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 ended up being crowned the most-streamed song of the year in a single day, confirming that, when Drake wants to dominate the conversation, he rarely falls short.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
