Last September, ASICS and Chemist Creations presented their first collaboration, which is now on sale. The Los Angeles-based brand reinterprets GEL-KAYANO 5 OG and GEL-FUJITRABUCO 7, promising to become the collaboration of the year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"ASICS\"<\/p>\n

Just a month ago, Chemist Creations<\/strong>, the umbrella company of the creative C2H4<\/strong> brand, was officially launched on the market as an independent brand. To celebrate, it has joined ASICS<\/strong> (@asics<\/strong><\/a>) in its first collaboration. The Los Angeles-based brand has reworked two silhouettes for a clean, futuristic makeover.<\/p>\n

In the first, the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 5 OG<\/strong>, we can appreciate the chemical inspiration that characterizes Chemist Creations<\/strong>. On this occasion, the idea comes from the processes of sublimation. As it could not be otherwise, the color palette consists of creamy white and grayish blue.<\/p>\n

The GEL-FUJITRABUCO 7<\/strong>, a trail running<\/strong> model, retains its original silhouette.\u00a0 The extremely thin nylon cords for the laces, Salomon<\/strong> style, stand out. On the heel, we find the detail of “\u5316\u5b78\u88fd\u54c1 ” (Chinese typeface by Chemist Creations<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

After the aggressive prints of the collaboration with Vivienne Westwood<\/a><\/strong> and the subtle makeover of her collaboration with the German brand GmbH<\/strong><\/a>, ASICS now shines through the scientific perspective of Chemist Creations.<\/p>\n

While C2H4<\/strong> (@c2h4<\/strong><\/a>) stands out for oversize and exaggerated silhouettes, Chemist Creations<\/strong> (@chemistcreations<\/strong><\/a>) reduces its products to the basics<\/strong>, focusing on colors, materials and texture.<\/p>\n
