A \u2018STONE ISLAND DENIM RESEARCH\u2019<\/em><\/strong> conecta-se com o legado de Massimo Osti<\/strong>, que em 1984 introduziu o denim no universo Stone Island<\/strong>, com uma nova vis\u00e3o contempor\u00e2nea. Sob o conceito de pesquisa, exploram-se as tens\u00f5es entre tradi\u00e7\u00e3o e tecnologia, entre o tecido mais cotidiano e as possibilidades do futuro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No in\u00edcio dos anos 2000, Paul Harvey<\/strong> consolidou essa ideia sob a marca Stone Island Denims<\/em><\/strong>, estreando na temporada FW01-02<\/strong>. Hoje, a marca<\/a><\/strong> reativa esse esp\u00edrito experimental atrav\u00e9s de uma retrospectiva que, em vez de se render ao arquivo, o reinterpreta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A nova c\u00e1psula abrange uma gama completa de materiais que expandem a defini\u00e7\u00e3o do denim: desde o polipropileno, o David Light Indigo-TC<\/em> ou o microveludo, at\u00e9 ao selvedge japon\u00eas n\u00e3o tratado. Cada um deles funciona como um exerc\u00edcio t\u00e9cnico onde se reinterpreta o conceito de denim quando se aplica o conhecimento t\u00eaxtil da Stone Island<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As pe\u00e7as \u2014 casacos, sobrecamisas, coletes utilit\u00e1rios e jeans cl\u00e1ssicos ou carpenter \u2014 apresentam um emblema preto exclusivo com uma b\u00fassola azul, s\u00edmbolo do car\u00e1ter experimental da linha. Os bot\u00f5es, em n\u00edquel, foram desenvolvidos especificamente para a cole\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No Indigo Polypropylene Denim<\/em><\/strong>, o fio de polipropileno \u2014 uma das fibras mais leves que existem \u2014 gera um tecido de estrutura oca que absorve a cor azul com uma intensidade in\u00e9dita. Combinado com algod\u00e3o \u00edndigo, consegue um efeito dupla face que mant\u00e9m o aspecto tradicional do denim, mas com uma leveza radical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Nylon Indigo-TC<\/strong> segue a mesma l\u00f3gica experimental: nylon de fibra oca tratado com \u00edndigo e submetido a um processo anticorrosivo pr\u00f3prio da Stone Island<\/strong>. O resultado? Pe\u00e7as mais leves, mas com uma presen\u00e7a visual muito mais potente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O David Light Indigo-TC<\/strong>, por sua vez, utiliza poli\u00e9ster japon\u00eas de alta precis\u00e3o que \u00e9 tingido com pigmento \u00edndigo ap\u00f3s a confec\u00e7\u00e3o, num processo que provoca um encolhimento calibrado para transformar a textura e o caimento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por \u00faltimo, o Micro Corduroy<\/strong> prop\u00f5e um di\u00e1logo entre o algod\u00e3o \u00edndigo e o poli\u00e9ster branco, reinterpretando o veludo cotel\u00ea cl\u00e1ssico com uma superf\u00edcie canelada que reage de forma diferente \u00e0 luz \u2014 como se o denim fosse traduzido para outra linguagem t\u00eaxtil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Na campanha, Clint419<\/strong> veste o Q100027 INDIGO POLYPROPYLENE DENIM-RINSED<\/strong>, sintetizando assim a filosofia do projeto: volume e leveza coexistindo na mesma pe\u00e7a. O seu tecido denim de 14 oz combina a solidez do algod\u00e3o com a estrutura oca do polipropileno, gerando uma sensa\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e1til inesperada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paralelamente, Alessandro Borghi<\/strong> veste a 4100123 INDIGO MICRO CORDUROY-RINSED<\/strong>, confeccionada em veludo cotel\u00ea ultrafino tingido com \u00edndigo. O tratamento aplicado a um material tradicionalmente alheio ao denim confirma a obsess\u00e3o da Stone Island pela experimenta\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
