6 creative directors to keep on your radar

This month’s “6 emerging brands” is a bit special. We’ve signed up 6 creative directors who are really making a splash.

6 creative directors to keep on your radar

This month our emerging section is dedicated to 6 creatives who, from different parts of the world, are making their way in the industry. They are the proof that it is no longer enough to have good taste to stand out, but you have to build universes, have vision and understand that the creation of something goes beyond the mere piece, but is part of something bigger. Some are already in global campaigns doing things for Vans, Nike or Timberland; others are just beginning to shape their own language in their respective brands. But they all share an energy that feels necessary.

1. Mattias Gollin

Based in Milan, Mattias Gollin is one of the names breaking the mold in independent creative direction. Through his studio RAL7000STUDIO, he has collaborated with brands such as adidas Originals, Jans, Fear of God or XL EXTRALIGHT®, creating original footwear. His experimental approach is seen in designs such as the Timberland with pearls, seen at Drake or Kai Cenat, or the boots he designed for MSCHF. He has also worked with Moon Boot on the “ICON FLAKES” line and recently created a jacket made from 50 vintage belts, inspired by the Margiela x HM collection piece from AW12.

2. Tulie Yaito

Tulie Yaito is making noise from New York with an explosive mix of Jamaican culture, her origins, and a style that elevates streetwear to an aura of luxury. Together with her boy, Carlton, she has turned Yaito into a brand that packs a punch with her knot bags and Paisley print, which have become pillars of her DNA. Her vibe is 100% DIY, with lots of volume and color. Tulie is that kind of creative that doesn’t copy anything because she creates everything from her own background. Check her out!

3. Leguard

Roger Guardia Allué, known as Leguard, is the designer behind ByLeguard. A member of the Cutemobbb collective, he has collaborated with artists such as Leïti Sene and Bikôkô. After his first collection, Be The War, the creative has not stopped working with brands like Nike, artists like Paloma Mami or one of the most famous jewelers in Spain: Victor García Quesada. In short, he has a multidisciplinary approach in his work that perfectly unites music, fashion and graphic design. Undoubtedly, one of the most prolific designers of the national scene.

4. Pablo Attal

Pablo Attal is the founder of Pablo T-Shirt Factory (PTSF), a Paris-based creative workshop that fuses fashion, art and community. Since its launch in 2021, PTSF has stood out for its artisanal approach and commitment to local production and self-expression. Attal has collaborated with brands such as Timberland and Champion, and has starred in Merrell campaigns, cementing her presence in the emerging fashion scene. His work reflects a contemporary vision that celebrates authenticity and collective creativity.

5. Carlos Cardigno

Carlos has always designed clothing, but he also has extensive experience in 3D design. At the last Milan Fashion Week he presented the piece Duro Cardboard Jersey, created for PDF Channel as a tribute to the city of Milan. The piece was made with 3D printer and looked like a suit of armor. In addition, he also made the belts for the fashion show and we have already seen his complements on artists such as Tony Effe Baby.

6. 2200cc

2200CC is making denim fun again. From California and with one foot in anime, the other in pop culture, this project pushes textile design to the limit. Jackets with four sleeves, jeans that transform into sculptures with holes, and waistbands turned into tubes. 2200CC doesn’t just design clothes, it’s like a kind of weird and brilliant laboratory where each garment seems to come out of a parallel universe.
