London designer Bianca Saunders (@biancasaunders_) has launched her long-awaited Spring/Summer 2020 collection, a unique offering photographed by Ronan McKenzie at the end of last year.
Known for exploring identities and heritage through her designs, Saunders opted for her mother, brother and cousins to star in the SS20 lookbook. Each photo is based on her family heritage, and she seamlessly blends streetwear with sportswear.
The collection includes – as usual – traditional garments and tailoring, something Saunders has become famous for in recent years, as well as a range of fine knitwear.
T-shirts have been embellished, while dress pants have been fused with sport pants to create an elegant and casual hybrid. The transformation of everyday clothes into pieces of formal wear has become a more recognizable element of Saunders.
