Instagram is having its anniversary. To celebrate its tenth birthday, the app allows you to change its icon. However, this has to be done from a secret menu. However, not all users are getting it.
We explain the trick – it’s easy. All you have to do is enter the application’s configuration and look for the hidden option. How? By sliding up (as if you were refreshing the screen) until some emojis come out indicating that there is a secret.
Once the emojis are displayed, you can choose which version of the icon you want to display on your home screen: the old logo, the pride version, super dark mode…
Although Instagram had the secret saved for today, a few weeks ago a user, Alessandro Palluzzi, discovered the surprise while using the app. I wonder what he was doing when he guessed it.
